Well, knowing most of the story behind all three factions, I being a Vanu am sometwhat pissed off...
I always hear in the stories from TR and NC bitching about all the Vanu altering ourselves and others into practically cyborgs... now, I know this isnt true for the fact that my char is not a cyborg, nor is upgraded in anyway besides my 3 implants.

what have the Vanu got?

Where is the incentive to join Vanu?

I joined vanu because I realised that the NC are just a bunch of pot smoking hipicritical hippies, Sure, they want peace, but to have peace you must kill everyone else..
and have peace with yourself (cough*BUSHBUSHBUSH*cough)

The TR have more nobler causes, Fighting to make a just and new empire that will pave the road to peace amongst ourselves... but they went corrupt.

Us VS arwe basically a bunch of dudes who believed in something else and wanted to share it with everyone else, but they rejected it and either replied, "reunificate or be destroyed" and "Liberty rules" I think it was...

Us vanu arnt exactly the bad guys, no one is, everyone is just ignorant...

I do feel that the TR would be right if they cleaned up their act, the Vanu would gladly join their cause in reunification and having a peacefull fair government...

(Which I think the Vanu wanted in the first place)

But I dont feel the need for the NC.
the NC should be eliminated immediatly.

We Vanu are the select few who are blessed with the gifts of technology, We must use this technology to bring peace to auraxis.

Any TR's who are reading this yes, I would gladly reunify with the republic, if youd cut the bullshit and accept the Vanu, imagine the wealth of technology we could bring to the republic, and also stomp out the NC and their /\/00B/-//-\ /\/\ /\/\ ER5!!!!

The whole point in the background stories is so there can NEVER be peace again between the three empires. Because if there is peace again; there is no fighting, no point in the game and we would all be wasting our money.

So they set the three empires to make them unique. The NC hated the TR's laws and broke FREE, wanting FREEDOM. The Vanu discovered the alien technology of the "Vanu" on Auraxis, hence their names. Their love for the technology and using it not knowing its true power stirrs even more trouble. (The reason why they say its unknown powers is to bring forward Core Combat that is all about ancient tech weapons.)

So peace can never be remade, there is no wormhole. We are trapped to fight forever. That is the aim of the game - To fight. Aight?

they designed the empires so they can be looked at with a positive and negative view. TR are oppressive communists, but at teh same time peace keepers. NC are crazy revolters, but at the same time heroes (much like the american revolution).
