Breaking cavern locks is what makes them an imbalanced part of the game. If you dont have a link your forces are basicly boned. Me and rayder discussed this and he came up with the idea that the stasis biuldings should always be hackable and you can always enter a geo warp. Id agree but he wants the timer reduced back to five. I think it would be good for it to be at 15. (its very important!). What do you guys think?

Personally, I think that you shouldn't have to have a link to enter. I also think that you should be able to take all the caverns and they shouldn't rotate. Finally I like the timer as is right now.

Yeah, i've certainly noticed the better implementation of the caverns as well. It brought a smile to me face. Hooray for teh tunnel junkies!

First, you should be able to broadcast warpgate into the cavern if you have an active geowarp on a dominated continent.
Second, I agree, you should be able to hack a building without requiring a surface link. The Stasis building makes sense because the Core building has links to both of them and is neutral, so anyone should be able to hack them (it makes sense). Third, if you die in a cavern and have no nearby respawn point, you should have the option of respawning at a friendly surface facility that is nearest an active geowarp. This way if your AMS gets destroyed, you can go up to the surface, grab another and head back down into the battle! Edit: Thus far I've been in several large cavern battles and it is truely awesome! With the cavern lock module benefits more people are heading down there! Last night we had a really cool Squad vs Squad fight going in Byblos Cavern on Markov (about 10 NC versus 10 VS) and it was a pretty intense battle that raged back and for quite a while before us NC Black Hawks gave 'em the boot!
