I wonder what kind of qualifications you'll have to have to be in the beta. I wanted to be in the beta for another game but those who were more active in the forum were selected first. I hope it isn't that way here, (No offense to those of you who have been posting for a while.) I've only just heard about Planetside but it sounds awesome, I've been waiting for the day a company would make a game like this, and Planetside is all that and sooooooo
much more!

You are coming up short then Valius. Beta sign ups were in november.
To qualify you needed to be 18 and have a sytem with atleast 1ghz processor, 512 megs of ram, and the equivilant of a GeForce3 vid card.

just found this in the archives!
After Exclusive Open Beta, we'll have a General Open Beta. "General" means that we'll be putting as many able-bodied gamers onto the servers at once as possible. This is a true stress of both server loads and the macro-gamebalancing that happens in the game. It's also the point in the beta process when folks will be generally just "playing the game" instead of focusing on certain areas of the game for testing. YES! I GET TO BETA! |
