It's going to be out when it's out. NOBODY knows when it'll be out, not even the people making it. EB and other stores guess at what the release date will be. They know nothing more about it than we do.

PC gamer said feb 17. and they're obviously wrong, exclusive beta hasn't even started yet. Don't beleive it just cause it came from EB games.

What the hell does EB know? Are they affiliated with Sony? Do they have friends at JoJo's Psychic Connection? The reason these games are uncertain with their release dates is due to the fact that problems can arise at any time, setting things back a bit. Or, more infrequently, things can go especially smoothly. So developers generally give a window of release instead -- and Planetside has Q1 2003 as their release window. Anything else -- especially from EB or wherver -- is just a made-up date they use to approximate and give people an idea of when to expect it.

So anyway, all of these places you can buy games are usually estimating based on somthing they heard from sony. Sony would not give out a solid date just yet IMO

well SWG was originally supposed to be out last november or something?? Starcraft broodwar was the ultimate slap in the face, i think they got it right the third time they changed the "official" release date like 3 times

i believe dave said they were shooting for the absolute last day, q1 2003, but i think they're gonna miss it unless the beta comes out today.

Do me a favor, call EB and ask them when TF2 is coming out, I gaurentfarkintee they give you a date. Better yet, Duke Nukem Forever.

Hey Give the guy a break ,Ive never ever gotten a wrong release Date from EB NEVER!, but that doesnt mean they couldnt be wrong ,but theres No reason to get mad at this guy for spreadin a little hope
