Wow, a crazy case

In my search for the perfect PC case, I ran across this thing:

http://www.directron.com/vapochillamd.html

When I saw the price I was wondering why in the hell it was so expensive, and then I saw this:

By using the VapoChill technology to cool standard Intel or AMD CPU's to subzero temperatures (-25 to -15 degrees Celsius)
If you had this machine(and btw, there is no way in hell I would ever consider spending that much on a case...unless I won the lottery of course ) how much overclocking could you do exactly? Would be pretty cool to hear about someone that has it.

Ya I've seen that before... I don't think it'd be worth the 400 extra dollars for the case to OC... I'd rather just get a normal case and some better parts.

I just got this case, and I'm totally in love with it. Removable docks for all your drives, great airflow, good power supply. http://www.sharkacorp.com/cgi-bin/TL...hen-xpider-blk

I have an older case that looks very similar to that nav: http://www.gis.net/~powda/comp/

I like it too.

Very cool case Powda. It looks great, but does it stay nice and cool? Did you have to add a better heatsink or extra fans?

Nah, I got mine from DIT, and it came with a 420 so I was happy enough with that. We'll see, but I don't think I'll need more juice than that. Yeah my case has 4 led red fans - very sinister looking.

Sounds very cool, Nav. Is this the PC that you just built/upgraded (or were considering building/upgrading) or an older one? Having 4 fans is very enticing

Yep, that's the case I got,

I got a Asus NForce2 A7N8X Deluxe 333 FSB
AMD Athlon XP 2700+ .13 Micron
DDR 2700 - 512 MB Corsair CAS2/Htsnk CMX
and a WD Caviar 80gb 8mb cache - but it's only ata100, but heh, I'll live.
54x MAX cd
Samsung DVD Rom/ CD RW
Radeon 9700 pro
and a 1.44 floppy, what would I do with out that?

Thanks for the help guys!

Nothing special in my case at all to be honest... Alpha PAL8045 heatsink (very big and nice) and a bunch of fans (have most of them turned off though; note the fan switches I put in). Everything stays cooler in the winter so I don't need the fans on...

and nav... I want your comp, asap.

Thermaltake has a very cool case coming out on the 10th, that I am considering:

http://www.monarchcomputer.com/Merch...C1-Thermaltake

It's loaded with 7 fans(none are exhaust) and it's all aluminum. It's also pretty pricey and none of Thermaltake's cases come with mobo trays, which kinda sux.
