Question purple haze all in my mind

Hello all. I recently reinstalled PS on a new hard drive in my existing PC. When logging in the first time I noticed that my viewing distance had been reduced to about 6 inches. There was nothing but purple fog. I've checked all my video settings and all settings (in-game and out-of-game) are identical. Any suggestions??
Thanks.

Nope, DL isn't on. Actually, if I turn DL on my viewing distance increases slightly. Go figure.

Check in your advanced options under Direct3d and make sure Fog Emulation Table is enabled.

Fog Emulation... hmm, good to know. A friend of mine has a similar problem, maybe this will help. Thanks as well.
