Damage of Weapons

Approx. how much will it take to eat through the 100 health (not armor, I can figure that out) with say, a Vanu Beamer? I know the things still being tweaked, but a ballpark figure would be nice. I hope it's not a lot like Halo, but not as little as Ghost Recon (well, maybe that much because of armor). I'm all about first strike, so I hope it's somewhere near realistic.

Headshots 2
Body: 6-9
Standard Armor:
Headshots: 2-3
Body: 9-12
Agile Exo suit:
Headshots: 2-3
Body: 10-12
Renforced:
Headshots: 3-4

MAX: How much ammo do you have?

The devs have stated that there aren't going to be any headshots.

They could change that of course.

I'm pretty sure they said they'd have headshots, I remeber they were talking about Sniping and said it take one headshot to kill somebody in Agile armor... I could be wrong, But I'm pretty sure there are headshots.

Ehhh, actually only an idiot would do that but anyway, there's a bunch of threads on this already. Look a tthose. Also, remember poeple will nomrally get lucky headshots. Praying won't working with this type of aiming system either. Only short controlled bursts. Also, snipers are powerful enough and it allws them to aim for the body, as they should anyway. This isn't Quake, it's not meant to be a frag fest but a tactical FPS

but actually..hama dus only the person who gets the kill get BEP? cus if not then it dont matter peeps were complaining that if you shot sum1 wit a sniper rifle then theyd just come over and kik yo punai lil ass. but then its ure own fault for goin out on your own! and if youre not then hey! let your mates guard you!

To address each of the questions asked here:

1) There are no hit locations... you hit or you don't.

2) BEP: Everyone gets the same BEP for a kill, alone or with a squad of 10. So get in a squad, you'll get x10 the experience. Providing that the rest of the squad kills as fast as you do, of course. One could argue that you'll actually get BEP faster, because you don't die so often, get your armor and health repaird, etc.

Just get in a squad.

Turn your sniper-thread radar down. I'm not interested in debating or discussing snipers, that was just an example.

I am interested in the merit of a system where you take 2 shooters on opposing sides, at close range, using the same weapon, 1 fires at the feet and gets 5 hits, the other fires at the head and gets 4 hits and the one that was shooting at the head dies.

I have heard many times that there will be headshots but ONLY for snipers... I am pretty sure that is true
