hi all long time no post.
well i ave finally gotten ps working and am enjoying it but one problem has happend.my ps crashed and now freezes on connect screen now i know u shud reinstall but i dnt really wanan do the big update as it takes 12 hrs.so my question is shdu i copy all the patch files and put them in when install has done or wat?? plzz say this is the way to avoid the "big" update. cheers planethogger terran republic br10.97 cr1. - werner |

Chill out guys.
There is no way to update Planetside without running the patcher. You'll have to download the updates after a fresh install. But, I strongly doubt that it will take 12 hours. Just g'head and reinstall, then run the patcher. Do it quickly, get it over with, haha. Good luck

If you have a high connection (589kbps at the least) it wont take long to download all the patches again. Plus it may be part of the old downloaded stuff that are bugged and they are causing your problem? Corrupt files, etc. Its best to start from fresh, bro. Good luck.
