Spee plays the DM, he has his own campaign. Dunno what level, I'm pretty new at DnD. We use IRC to play, and have dice rolling scripts.

I'll need to know a bit more about Spee (preferably from Spee) and the other players (age, maturity).

If it looks like we're doing a good campaign with a well thought out story with mature charachters, then i'll gladly put in my request to join as a ranger.

I'm 16, I believe spee is 16 as well. We play pretty seriously, no maturity issues. I am sort of still learning however, so if you have no tolerance for newbies, I'd suggest not playing.

Newbies are fine. People with social issues are the problem, or people who play immaturely ("heh heh, i push him into the pit of doom as a joke").

I accept a little bit of tomfoolery in the chat, but if you start being an asshole IC, I lay down the Holy DM Ownage.

Humor is good and all that, but people who act like dicks are treated as such.

1. How old are you. 16. I'm currently DMing three campaigns, this one not included, and PCing in four.
2. What edition? 3.5. Thats what all my handbooks are.

3a. If your the DM, what level we starting at? Fairly low. This game wont be as battle-intensive.
3b. If your the DM, how involved of a campaign will this be? If youre referring to the frequency of play dates, roughly once a week.
3c. If you need a DM, i'll show you a campaign i've been working on for about a year in my head. N/A
4. Will we be using an online chat type interface made for RPG's (with built in dice rollers and everything)? We wil be using IRC. Dharkbayne has a bot with a public rollign script, and I have a bot myself for rolling dice that you cant see (for NPC reactions and such)

As per the story, Im just starting to write it up. However, I need to know if you guys want a lengthy campaign, or a short one. Cause at this point, it can go either way.

4th Edit, christ: Last game we had Dhark and Sputty as PC's. There was a lot of immaturity, but they generally kept on task and got serious when there wasnt anything funny to be said. If they want to be included in the new campaign, Ill have to ask to tone down the goofing off.

Well I love D&D however, I am of the opinion that anything past 2nd edition is worthless. I've played 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 3.5, and 1st and 2nd are the only ones I can play. There are many aspects of 3 and 3.5 that are kinda cool, but the way the game is run as a whole is completely bad, IMO. Have fun playing though, if you ever run a 2nd or 1st edition game let me know and I'll gladly play.

None of the above. Dungeons and Dragons v.3.5, is all. Non-epic. Well. Unless you wanna play a really long campaign, in which case, I could make an exception...
