Well, seeing the immense response from Hamma's fundraiser to get he and Jenny there (and Mars too!), I decided I'd see what I can do to that effect. I don't want to be left out, seeing as how all the rest of the PSU staff will be there (minus gryphon.. sorry bud!)
I, too, would love to come to PSU:MA, but right now it looks like I can't afford both a PSU:MA trip and a CDL Rally trip in September. My goal at the moment is much less than hamma's because it's just me So, my goal is $500. This will cover the plane ticket ($200.20) and most of the cost of PSU:MA ($350). I'll still have to pay about $60, but I can handle that myself (I think...!) I probably won't get near the response that Hamma got. If I do not meet my goal, I will refund all money that was donated (minus the percentage that paypal takes from all donations, sorry). Here's hoping guys!

Like hell you will
Just kidding. I really wanted to say that. No offense. And swing our brother some cash, ok? I'd love to see you at PSU:MA.

The gun katas. Through analysis of thousands of recorded gunfights, the Cleric has determined that the geometric distribution of antagonists in any gun battle is a statistically predictable element. The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
