Woot! My room Ver. 2.0!

Since I finally got my grades up (not really THAT great but better than last 3 years) My parents have decided to upgrade my room a bit.

1st. new paint job (dosent really show the color, but its kinda Denimish):

Next, they let me build my own gaming rig! (which I posted about a bit back)
So I had to get a nice computer desk

Yes, I realize the KB/mouse isnt pluged into anything, i was just making sure that the room was alright.

They also let me got me a new TV ( 27", Sony)

Also convinced my rents to get a new KB/Mouse, and they decided to go wireless.

Just so u can see the general setup (comps still out so I can steal the video card for my new one, the Vid card was out of stock till last night, and it was shipped today. Hopefully getting it tomorrow.)

Heh, I see almost exactly the same amount of stuff on the forums, at 1600x1200. 1600 4 lyfe, any lower and it's too big.

well 1280 is max the LCD will go, plus if I let myself get usted to 1600, ill never be able to use anyones comp but mine. i get claustrophobic on small res's

yeah, I use 1280x1024 and it's horrible if I use anyone elses computer... all my friends run at like 800x600

I wanna get a LCD, mainly to have an extra screen for web browsing / IRC, but they're like 400 dollars.

CRTs are cheaper, but you end up paying about just as much in shipping.

You end up saving money by buying an LCD monitor - CRT monitors take more power to run (and therefore more money on the power bill) than the CPU themselves :-\
