Spider-Man 2

Saw it at 12:00 last night. Very good, although I didn't like the ending. Doc Oct is a very cool villian. Pretty long, too.

I heard they spent a year and a half on the train scene! I don't have the patience for something like that. I have turned down a few movies in my day. I think they are just attracted to my sekc body...

Not really; leastaways, they're much better than any other comic-based movie (some may say that's pretty meaningless, but still...). Mr. Maguire has won several awards for his acting in the original. Mr. Dafoe was fantastic as Osborn, and as good as someone can be when he was in his lame-ass green suit. Ms. Harrison is also an accomplished actress, and Ms. Dunst is OK. The special effects are good, in a comic-like way, and the plot is well-written. Overall, they're not Oscar winners; they're just all-around solid movies several notches above normal summer faire.

I didn't like how the character relationships developed. Nothing inherantly wrong with the ending, it's not abrupt (LoTR 1). I just thought it could be better.
