Little in game story for you (Emerald server)
Last night the vanu were attempting to take Oshur from the nc. We had taken Zal (bio lab) and that was as far as we had gotten. For an hour the NC beat on the VS trying to get us out of this base. I have never seen the VS more stubborn about giving up a base, made me proud After the hour of beating on us with ground and air, the NC organized a 3 gal drop to try and get that damn roof gen. The base couldn't have had much more CE in it, so even the roof was covered. This of course couldn't stop 3 gals of troops from taking out the gen. The entire base ran straight into the gen and had it back up in 2 minutes. The NC did 3 more similar drops, all preceeded by EMP strikes which made all the CE we were doing between them useless. Each time they killed the gen, each time they got bumrushed and we had the gen back up in 2 minutes. Now the 5th gal drop was my favorite. By this point the VS had gotten ourselves into a rush the gen groove the second we saw the gals overhead. Despite the fact that they just kept EMPing my CE, I kept placing it between drops. When the 5th group dropped from 2 gals this time, they got a BIG surprise. Half a dozen landed right on my mines (KILL SPAM WOOHOO), but one of our CR5s was ready with his OS, which he dropped right on the roof of the gen as they landed (MORE KILL SPAM WOOHOO). Well between the group that landed right on my CE, and the ones that got OSed, when the VS came rushing onto the roof to get them, they found that not a single NC had survived the landing For some reason that was the last of the gal drops on that gen |

Reminds me of the time when TR (on Markov) were pushed by the NC all the way back to the capital on Cyssor and we held it seems like forever. I remember grabbing my Combat Engineer Alamo favorite and going outside and laying mines, spitfires and motion sensors constantly. Load up, run out, lay out, run back in, repeat. NC would push in a little, we push them back out. We would push out a little, NC would push us back in. Finally TR capped another cont with a link to Cyssor and they hit the cont from the north. Forcing some NC to break off and deal with them....which finally allowed us to go on the offensive. One hell of a battle.

Reminds me of the time me and a buddy had mined the southern most bridge on Cyssor, the one to the East, near Orisha. He and I held that sucker from about twenty times our number. We'd both heavily CE either side of the bridge(max out on all our stuff), then sit back and wait. The NC would roll up, get blown to hell and we'd pick em off. By the time we decided to leave (TR had FINALLY made some progress so we could leave), I had 67 kills (started at that bridge with 2, a cloaker and a Pheonix Sniper). My friend had about 71 (all from the bridge). Total we had about 10k Bep from that. It was the most fun I've ever had on a bridge (lately).
GOOD JOB VS for sticking it to the NC. Always fun to kick in the teeth of those braggarts. |

Hahaha, it's beautiful that stuff like that happens. The VS are really stubborn about leaving a base under siege. You literally have to drag us out kicking, screaming, biting, and scratching. Then after finally taking over the base, we'll come right back and keep fighting tooth and nail until the hack is finished. I want to share my similar story here on Markov. But it's too long and such a pain to type out so I won't. Basically it was a 2+ hour 3-way on Sina.

Every coin has two sides. Er... except for the PlanetSide one... which happens to have three. |

Umm i hate to say that some NC dont use any of these instagib weapons, and are doin just fine for themselves. Gimme a rocklet and im happy. Feel free to note that none of the kils are from jackhammer and maybe 50 from Thunderer, and of course some from a Vanguard.
Kinda reminds me of OF's in this post... EDIT- So my sig isnt showing up quite right, but i think im at 5022, and you can still click and check for self. |
