PoTD Submission problems

I tried submitting a PoTD today, but I get an error. It says that it must be a JPG, but my image is a JPG... so I don't know what's up.

Any help?

I really wasn't sure what forum I should've posted this in... I'll check the size, I didn't think of that.

EDIT: Hmm, it's only about 50 kb, when the max is 500... so...

yea it just happens sometimes. this is one of those problems thats fixed by waiting a couple hours.

Well, I "waited a couple of hours" (half a day), and I'm still getting the problem.

try saving it as a bmp and using another program to convert it to jpg and then try uploading it

On a side note, I need more POTD's we are at a record low of under 20 in the display queue

Well, when I took the actual screenshot, it was a .bmp, so I opened up Paint and I saved it as a .jpg... so...

Try and save it as a jpg in another program.. what is the error?

Error: Only JPEG files are allowed for upload (jpg, jpeg).

I'll try saving it with a different proggy...

EDIT: Okay, I tried saving it with Photoshop, same error.

Thats odd.. :\ im not sure what to tell you.. as for POTD's - preferably funny stufff.. and stuff that is obscure
