Windows Password Manager

My dad got a new laptop from work and has Winows 2000 on his old computer. His new one is XP Pro (I don't know stats, sry). He has tons of passwords saved in the Windows Password Manager. Does anyone know where the passwords/information is saved? He would like to be able to copy them over to his new computer over his network at work. A quick reply would be nice as we are going on vacation to Maui, Hawaii on the Saturday, Jusly 17th. Please help if you know. Thanks.

Microsoft never makes these things easy, if it were XP you could use the "Files and Settings Transfer Wizard"

I just did a little reading on it and it appears that its not possible to export or migrate these settings as they are encrypted (for good reason) in the registry. In short I dont reccomend using it and then throwing away the password
