meh TR = crap NC = Pretty Good I voted VS becuase of theyre JumpJets and are good at what they do.

The vs are the best maxes because they can get to place quickly with the jump jets like on towers for example

If it's single best MAX then The Scatter Cannon wins easy.

But for Overall it's hard to overtake the VS. The StarFire is the best AA max (IMHO) and the Comet is better then the Falcon... sooooo VS win overall with the Scatter Cannon being the best individual.

Anyone else remember Beta where a single DC could hold a hallway against a crush of infantry... that was swell. Back when the Dual Cycler Ruled the world!

In my opinion, the only two MAX classes that are worth half a crap are AI and AA, so I won't even take AV into consideration, since 90% of the time it's not worth it. Everyone who's played this game at all knows that TR MAX's are overall crap, so I won't even consider them. So that just leaves NC and VS AI and AA MAX's.

AI MAX's: ScatCannon Vs. Quasar
The Scatcannon is the only AI MAX with a TTK against a rexo than a rexo's TTK with a deci against a MAX. The quasar will lose against a rexo deci, so the scat cannon is overall better. Also, the quasar burns through ammo quickly, moreso in AV mode. Also, the scat max isn't bad for anti-MAX, as it can take down AV MAX's.
Overall (Graded on a curve): Scat: 10/10 Quasar: 7/10

AA MAX's: Starfire vs. Sparrow (maybe it's the Falcon, I don't remember)
The starfire can kill a reaver with only one clip. The sparrow has a slightly harder time, but it's not that much worse.
Overall (graded on a curve): SF: 10/10 Sparrow: 9/10

MAX Special abilities: NC Shield vs VS Jumpjets
The NC can bitch and moan all they want about the uselessness of the shield, it still has it's uses. It can be used to shield during autorun, and, if dueling a rexo, it can block the first deci shot, and THEn start firing.
Overall (graded on a curve): VS: 10/10 NC: 9/10

The verdict: NC: 28 VS: 27

So my vote went to the NC.

Our MAXes look sexy. They aren't bulky and fat like the NC or TR MAXes.

You forgot that jump jets allow you to dodge the first deci shot, or hell, maybe even the second or third.
