um dl all the newest drivers for everything. (starting with important ones, chipset, VidCard, sound card, then anything else you may have).
I dono i don't realy format much, to many DLed things i can't find again afterwards, and deleted the installer for.

1. Make partition's. (I use Partition Magic 8)
2. Install all needed drivers, like network card, sound card... 3. Go get the not so needed drivers, stuff like keyboards, mice, joystick... 4. Install an anti-virus software. 5. Install something like Microsoft Office... 6. Set up email and browser crap. 7. Install PlanetSide and enjoy the fastest loading times your ever going to get.
