Why can't vehicles and maxes such as the prowler, reaver, dual cycler, punder. And maybe the burster fire both chainguns and/or cannons at the same time? Or at least make it optional by switching firing modes. The supressor should recieve a 40 round capacity. The reaver should have 3 boxes of 18 rockets so it can have 600 spare 20mm ammo. I also have some great idias for empire-spacific reavers. The TR reaver would have a 28 shot capacity with three 28 round boxes in the trunk. This way it wont run out too quickly as it shoots both pods simutainiusly! Same goes for the double 15mm machine guns The NC reaver would have dual shooting 20mm cannons. And the 16 capacity single (not dual) shot rockets would be able to lock onto vehicles. And the VS reaver would carry dual shot 12mm cannons along with dual 18 shot heat seeking rockets (the vs reaver's rocket pods wouldn't be as hard hitting as the nc reaver's rocket pods). And now a few idias for tanks. A gatling tank should be made, with a driver seat and someone mounting the 35mm chaingun (thats right, the same chaingun from the lib). However,it wouldn't have as much armor as the empire spacific tanks. But a little more armor then the lightning. The prowler's 100mm cannons should be droped to an 18 shot capacity. The vanguard should have 14 shells (while nerfing it slightly). The magrider should be droped to a 22 shot capacity. And now for a few speed adjustments. The prowler should have 50kph, the vanguard 52 kph, and the magrider 54 kph. I should have mentioned this earlier, but the punisher's ammo capacity should be increased (maybe to 35). The ACEs, deployables, whatever their called, should come in packs of 2. Ok, ill wrap things up with AV shoulder mounted weaponry. The deci should recieve a 4 shot capacity. The striker should be toned down to a 4 shot capacity with its ammo boxes toned down to 12. Increasing its damage aginst everything (of course). And the lancer should be a 5 shot with 15 in the ammo boxes while increasing its damage affect slightly... Oops almost forgot,The prowler and lightning should shoot like tanks. Not like mortars.
P.S please forgive me for using the word "should" too much. |

If you think reaver's spamming infantry is bad now, try increasing the rocket pod boxes then see what happens.
I also think that your empire specific reaver ideas would make them really overpowered. I agree with you on the deci buff, but only because of the buff to max armor. I dont agree with you on making the striker ammo more powerful even if you do decrease the ammo box size because it has homing capabilities. Would you really want to be in a max and die before you even realized where the shots were coming from? |

lets face it thats how it is in WAR (yes i said it!) unless ur GI Joe you arnt goin to take down a whole tank squad & reaver by themselves, but maby reduce SLIGHTLY the reaver rocket pod size, coz having them taking out vehicles in one pass aint so great...... but lets face it th grunts are ment for base zerging, and guerilla fightin and thats it.

The motor in the Prowler could use a serious overhaul in my opinion, I feel that given the superior armour on the Vanguard the Prowler should have a speed advantage allowing it to be used in more of a hit and run role.
Something I would like to see for all tanks (Bar the Mag for obvious reasons, although it could apply to the Aurora) would be calibrated sights on the HUD. Just little marks on the hud that would tell you how far the shell will fly given the gunbarrel's angle of elevation on flat terrain. That way you could centre the cross hairs on the target to use the rangefinder, then elevate to the appropriate range and fire - so you'd at least have a chance of ranging your shots correctly. Maybe I just don't have enough experience with gunning tanks to be able to judge the range / angle by eye However I think that would be a fairly minor, yet useful change that wouldn't unbalance anything. |

It makes no sense that you can kill someone in about 10 9mm bullets, yet they can take almost double that number of *rockets* and not die. |
