Maybe it's your 2.88MHz processor. Try getting a faster one.

OR... Stop playing PS and wait for a new patch.

Read the post next time dumbass! IM asking what it could have done to fuck up my OS. Im still sitting here in safe mode.

And if you didnt know, this is a major issue right now. They are "scrambling" to put out patches to fix it, and i think just did one that people say fixed it. But i cant play ps in safe mode or do much of anything else and i need my OS to work properly!

Have you done a restore to last working setup thingy? If that doesnt work do a full shutdown from safemode and then see if the computer boots. If you hardboot to much windows wont have a working configuration to boot from and sometimes wont boot at all.

You more than likely corrupted a file of some sort, try using your Windows disc to do a repair.

EDIT: SHouldn't assume everyone one has XP.

I mixed you up with someone else i think. I took what you said as, you read the title, jumped to conclusions, and said that as a flat out insult because you thought i was complaining i had a glitch i had because i was incompitent, and were responding by telling to upgrade because they like insulting me about my computer.8\ I thought you were one of the guys that see my posts and respond like that all the time.

You have to boot from the cd, it will give you the option to install windows or repair the installation.

I dont have a disk! I assumed the briliance of microsofts programmer would alow me to restore from the cd in atleast one way in the NEW operating system. 8( What are likely things i can look at as the culprit and fix manually.

Do you know if the raw system files are on the cd to access? So i can replace them.

Edit: Blah blah blah blah edit edit edit edit!
