Florida = FUCKED. That little orange ball isn't the size of the storm, this is: ASS RAPE. A storm the size of Florida is barrelling towards Florida, chances are that it will be a Cat 4 or 5 when it hits, most probably 5: For the record: the following common members of PSU are Floridians: Me (Miami- Southeast Florida near the tip) Triggar/martyr (Daytona Beach- that wierd bulge on the East coast of FL) Xmodum (Panhandle) Apologies to those I missed. So...are we screwed or what? Commencing emergency preparations... Why do they give them nice names like Charlie and Frances, Andrew and Floyd? How about "HROTHGAR" or "I SUCK" or "ASSFACE"?

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |

Negative on the evac. We're intent on surviving this one. We'll be in a room at a hospital my dad works at. The house is screwed though: we don't have enough hurricane shutters. Flood damage is the #1 problem though, we live in a VERY flood-prone area. If it rains hard, we could expect serious damage. We're going to pile everything we can on top of the beds, etc.
But we have insurance. Because it's better to have the fucking windows break and the house flood, but get paid for it all, than to not have it break in the first place. Mom logic.

Assface'd better turn the fuck around.
EDIT: I should start a company called "Hurricane Debris, Co." and sell bricks, iron balls, spikes, and other projectiles. Throw them in your neighbors yard shortly before the hurricane. And let the fun begin!

Martyr and I are planning on evacuating Wednesday evening to avoid the traffic from fellow evacuatees. However, we don't have renter's insurance, and my car isn't big enough to hold all our important stuff.
Someone pray USAA hooks us up now-ish.
