Weapon Idea

The punisher can launch grenades that are exactly the same as the ones you throw right? so why not make radiator and maelstrom grenades throwable? as in they'd take up 2x2 inventory, 3 per a pack and work like frag grenades, just with different effects?

No flames please, this is just an idea i've been thinking of and would like some feedback on, not something i think should be implemented within the next 8 hours.

Might be too powerful. A single normal grenade can't do a hell of a lot, but maelstrom grenades hurt quite a bit, and the radiator's drawback is that it has no fast-killing mode, just the little radiation ball mode. I don't think the developers would want the radiator's usefulness being transferred to a weapon which can overcome its biggest disadvantage too. But considering how unpopular it is, maybe it should get some kind of an assault rifle fire mode to make it a more desireable weapon.

Transferring the radiator into grenade form wouldn't be overcoming its biggest advantage, it would be the same grenade, mearly being thrown instead of launched in a straight line or around a corner. Just making a 2x2 3 pack of radiator grenades wouldn't give it a fast kill mode.

Maelstrom grenades are onlymore powerful than frag grenades because they lash. I think they both do about 1/3rd damage to Rexos.

Sounds like a good idea, may need slightly nerfing, but after a damage to to the nades (not the "rifles") could be good.

a radiator grenade would be interesting.... but the maelstrom is just a more powerful (and lashing) version of the plasma grenade, and I think it'd be scary to see infils with those

NO! no more heavy weapons. Expand the other weapon areas first. Remember what happened the last time they added a new heavy weapon? they gave us the Maelstrom...a minnie, hand-held flail....woop...

I don't find many people with SA (that may just be me...), so more SA weapons would be very cool indeed. It would create more variety of people with SA.

./sign MORE SA and MA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'd like to see an AT AV weapon. I mean, all the other weapons classes have AT weapons (MA = Spiker, HA = Maelstrom, SA = Radiator) but no AV. Sniping doesn't either, but that'd just be stupid.

Misc Info

More empire specifice stuff liek i saide before:
New pistols (old ones would be silenced(no tracer) and relagated to mainly infils, plus these need ma to use)
like a Gauss Pistol, big, heavy(lots of recoil) but accurate, big damage, like a deagal or .45 for NC, perhaps an uzi liek thingy for TR, and VS can get a thing that shoots bouncy beams(liek granades but they move in a staight line, bit a damage buff aswell)

The carbine version of the MA, and tactical sniper versions

More crap of neary any sort but HA = good
