I woke up this morning and my dad told me about this. Some guy killed his girlfriend at treasure island, then went and jumped off the hoover dam.

Seems like the murder was a bit of an accident, and that he couldn't handle what he'd just done...

He tried to get police to shoot him -- known as suicide by cop.

And I don't think he really wanted to do it - hence why he tried to get them to do it quickly.

Poor bloke. (If it really is as I imagine..)
