I would like to see a 2 person motorcycle with sidecar where the passenger can fire whatever weapon he equips from inventory. Also the driver would have a basalist or fury weapon.
I would like to see an implant which gives short range teleport aka shadowstep if you ever played everquest. It would take half your stamina so it couldnt be abused. I find myself often just doomed and I think a short range teleport would save my skin. |

I don't think shadowstep would work very well in PlanetSide. The only reason it works in EverQuest is because of bad pathing
And as for the motorcycle... well if the driver didn't have a weapon and PlanetSide could support having a rider with any inventory weapon it'd be a cool idea |

With the speed of a basilisk, and its low armor, I don't see a sidecar being of much use. The basilisk is so easy to destroy, and it's movement over the kind of rough terrain in Planetside is bouncy as all hell, so even if you're evading a lot of fire, the sidecar gunner isn't going to be doing much at all.

yeah, a motorcycle /w sidecar would be pretty useless. Teleport? V-V-N

The sidecar would be fun, but it'd end up being like in Halo where you're trying to shoot straight while a drunken monkey is behind the wheel.
I'd also imagine that there is a good reason the warpgates are so huge, probably something to do with teleporting things and all. Doesn't make much sense to me that you could scrunch something that size in your head, also, since it isn't earth tech it seems unlikely that humans could improve on it to the point where it fits in your head without messing with stuff like thinking and all that fun stuff. Shadowstep through walls would be abused quite alot if it was implemented, but if it simply shoved you to the side 2 meters and stole 100 stamina (leaving the user safer but without any stamina), with a 2-3 min cool down time then i think it might work. Shadowstepping through walls also has the problem of getting stuck in walls.
