I have similar model a Panasonic PV-L452. It is VHS-C, and had just a output port. I bought this..
http://www.dealtime.com/xPO-Avermedi...aker_MDVDEZMKR from FRYS, and it works perfectly. It hooks up to the card you install in a PCIslot. The audio isn't captured with it (with some models) but just can just run a cord that runs from your camera's output into your comptuer's line in or mic port..and then syncronize em later.
