I used to work on a mod. BOY did we hate DC. After the mod crashed and burned, I went back to liking Desert Combat. It's pretty sad that it's gone.

DC Final is another mod that expands on the DC. Its is NOT the final version of DC. Its yet another mod team that continues workign on it using the .7 release of DC as the base.

Oh man, those were the days when I used to pre-release test that mod. One time I beleive I shot down an AC-130 with a SCUD missile during one of the tests. Those were the days.

You shot down a C-130? Dude, I shot that thing with the auto-cannon on the A-10, SAMed it, bombed it, and it STILL didn't go down.

I find the best thing to do is to sneak onto it before it takes off, and camp behind that barrel and kill everyone when they spawn in it. The pilot can't do shit, because if he gets out, you can gank the plane and suicide it.

You have to time it right with server side lag, and everything. THe best way to do it is to make the plane hit the missile broadside. I also shot down a few apaches and stuff with it. The dev, and testing team used to exclaim "oh shit, derfuds in a SCUD again!"
