Does anyone but me notice greif points go down too slow? ist like if you use all the weapons that help u collect greif points and seem to always be drivin into people and when you hit 1000 and the wep locks are so annoying and well I've been in the 1000 zone for a while now. im tryin my best but some morons always jump in front of me as if they want to get TKed. Anyone but me think the greif shud go down a tad quicker?

Whenever I get ahold of a malestrom, I get 500 Grief, 'specially when there are guys who seem to like jumping in front of me when I am firing up a hallway at the backdoor. So, I get pissed and rape them with it, and get 100 grief. They die, I keep killing with the malestrom, bada bing bada boom I get a BR in one night.
Then there is the problem where I blew up an enemy BFR near a Friendly AMS killing everyone near the AMS. 1345 Grief just from that. And for all those who like to go rambo on a BFR, and go right in his shields in my way wileding Decimators, dont bitch when you get your ass blown to bits /rant |

I've recieved 800 grief at once before. back in the day, after about a month of playing, I'm in a Tech CY. Two Prowlers are just chillin there, with little health I might add. a Magrider strolls in, so I pull out my Rocklet, and I end up getting the kill shot, wich blew up the Mag, and blew up the two Prowlers, wich were both fully maned, instant 800 grief+Weapons lock.

Heres a funny story.
Many may be aware how on the test server during the testing of the BFRs the Devs, if logged on, would reset your grief to zero if you asked them to since they knew everyone was getting alot of grief with the BFRs. Well I've been playing since beta testing of planetside and had never gotten over 700 grief on the public servers. So anyways on the testserver I had about 500 grief and since no Devs were on at the time I made an appeal about my grief asking if it could be reset assuming that the CSRs would also be aware of the problem and be willing to help. However while I was typing my appeal I was in my BFR standing in the courtyard and a friendly TR decided to park his Lodstar ontop of me and my BFR, understandably he wasn't having alot of success due to the large profile of a BFR, causing my grief to very quickly fly up to 1800. Thats not a typo either. Fortunatly Samhayne came on a short while afterwards so he reset it for me. Imagine if that had happened on the public servers. I'ed have to not play for a week before I would be able to play normally again. Last edited by Vimp; 2004-10-20 at 04:16 AM. |
