Bolt drivers :(

Im fed up of shooting a target once, waitin years for it to reload givin the nme a chance to hide. Wats the deel with having to shoot twice? also, they should make headshots more effective. Also heart shots. Just like the greatest game ever, Halo: Combat Evolved Also - how about being able to cloak whilst snipin. ud be almost invinsible but thats stupid i wouldnt reccomend it.

1 shot would just be suck, in counterstrike there is a siper that does that and it pisses everyone off and you are called a noob if you use it. Also there is not headshot in game atm, they say, i believe, it would take too much work for the server so they can't.

Try to pick targets that are out in the open, or targets that have no way to heal themselves. You can also use the Enhanced Targetting implant to pick injured people off in one shot.

Also, another tactic is to form a sniper team. That way you can call a target, then both shoot it. Instant kill. Just take turns getting the kills.

shooting twice is fine if i can get 80+ kills in a cave fight then its ok

yea Ive had moments where the enemy has gotten away while reloading, but they usually come back out eventually. and if theyre fully healed, just wait until theyre a little more out in the open.

The devs stated before the game the Region Specific hit detection wouldn't be in the game, but then they put it on BFRs.

They don't want to have a one shot kill weapon like a sniper rifle, but the Jackhammer in secondary is a 1 shot kill

Cloaking while sniping would be like you said almost invincible, wich is why they won't add it.

Headshots do exist in Halo, but heartshots? Pretty sure they don't.

If the bolt driver was made into a 1 shot kill weapon, what exactly happens to the footsoldier? Running out into the open would be suicide, because someone could pick you off without even a warning as to their presence. As it was stated, if you want to be a more efficient sniper, use 2 bolt drivers and rexo. When I used to have the sniping cert, shooting one rifle then switching to the other and shooting again usually was fast enough that my target didn't have time to respond to the first shot.

As to the Jackhammer comment, it is a one *click* kill, if you haven't noticed it uses three rounds; and that is ONLY at point blank range and ONLY if everyshot is a direct hit, I've heard this complaint way too many times :\ .

BTW this is Planetside, not Halo if you haven't noticed .

Not a complaint just a fact, yes it is three rounds, in about 1.something seconds. So as long as the peron has a Jackhammer, is indoors, knows has to use thrid person, they can "1 shit kill"

I admit it, 1 hit kill sniping was a bad idea. How about a sniper that doesn't reload every 1 shot, but is less effective? On the first 2-3 shots someone would know what's happening and get to safety, OR the sniper would be too fast and in 5 shots kill the guy :-)

Don't mess with it, it's fine. Just takes practice and patience, two things that sniping in other games sadly forego.
