BFR shields display corruption.


This is very damn corruption i got....
When i look on BFR or im inside a BFR the shield that around it blinking:
Transparent-White-Transparent-White

So when im in it, i cant see a shit for eac 2-3 seconds.....

What should i do? Maybe its some option issue? texture settings? Please help!

I want BFR shield look like on game startup BFR movie!

hmm take screen shots and post them

it may be overclocking of your video card causing arifacting(or your card going bad...)
the most likey story is taht a file someplce is corrupted, so do a full scan, and see if that helps.

Also please remeber to post system specs, it helps a good bit.

umm, that's normal to my knowledge, the shield flickers the color (in a swirl-like-motion)

Seeing a screenshot would be very helpful.

It could be a form of artifacting, or a vsync issue, or a corrupted file, or your graphic settings.

p.s. Specs are:

1200Mhz AMD Athlon
512Mb RAM DDR Kingston
ASUS GeForce4 MX440
20+20Gb HDD MaXtor

Settings are low to medium.
Vsync off.

Possibly a corrupt texture file?

Anything like that happen on anything else or in any other games?

nope, even in NFSU2(DX9 game) i have all good.

Reinstall will make me wait 20 hours to patch :P

did you do a full scan?

acctualy it could be your video card, it may not be able to support the shaders that do that, i mean it's 4 generations old

yea i did full scan...
BUT, sometimes it DOES display shield correctly like in BFR movie.....then it DOES support it

Thats what i get sometimes, and sometimes i get that white bug.....so my GFX can support it but aint doin it

well make sure you have the newest Nvidia WHQL drivers (www.guru3d.com)

and also post at planetside.com's tech support forum

I did posted, TSR-Joel said he will dig some solution up.
As for drivers on 66.93 game runs unstable...too bright...i can see at night same as at day
