Yeah well, it's more like I played the WoW beta, enjoyed, but then played EQII, enjoyed it till I realized something, and that something was simple.
SOE's EQII team had a bunch of GREAT ideas. Great on paper, but aweful in practice. The HO system? Works perfect solo, Dedenimuls and I pull it off when we are together in the same room.... okay shush pervs :P Crafting? Again great on paper, pathetic in practice. Selling? The whole sit in your room and ONLY be able to sell whats in your inventory is... bogus. These are a few of my complaints, what pisses me OFF is that I like the basic premis of the game, but the actual practice of playing the game is not... cool. To suceed at crafting, you have to be a part of a large uber guild, the game seems geared aroudn the uber players. And I am disgusted by that.

I think it's more along the line of.
1. Brilliant Idea 2. Make huge announcement 3. Induce hype 4. Bullshit PR 5. More bullshit PR 6. Game reaches barely playable stage 7. Game released 8. $$$$$$$ PROFIT $$$$$$$ 9. One year after initial release, game is finished
