I noticethat there will be some sort of jamming device that can be used by eningeers and the like, but does anyone know if it will be possible to have jamming equipment onboard any of the aircraft?
And it needn't be a totally unbalanced thing. It could be like in real life, where the radar can eventually "burn through" the jamming. Anyways, thats just a thought I had.

I'm not saying every vehicel or soldiear should be ble to. but if, say, a Mosquito, or maybe a Galaxy (but without any payload) could carry a jammer, you could pull of some really sweet stratagies off. Either covering a massive drop, or even just a minorone, or just for the sheer nuisance value. I just thought it would be a cool idea. Read "Red Storm Rising" for some examples of how Radar Jamming can do some sweet shit in the 'real world'

If they ever do empire specific aircraft, like a bomber, then I could see the Vanu having a stealth aricraft that didn't have the same health/power as the others. I think that would be a cool, and realistic (according to their storyline) way of implementing it.

not stealth, which would be passive anti-radar, but jamming, which is active. and if your radar was getting jammed, you would know, you just couldn't see anything in that area until you achieveed burn through

Jamming napalm? that's a neat trick. Jamming is where you confuse the decive trying to detect you, i don't see how fire would do that considering that thermal EM radition is no-where near radar frequencey... Usaaull method are to pulse the radar dish with a self geneirated signal, or bouncing one off somewhere else to confuse which signal is it's own and which one is the targets, another method is a Chaff, where strip of alumminum are realeased, the alumminum reflects the radar and gives and second "target" to worry about. More advanced radar systems with complex algrorymes are capable of sorting thourgh chaff and low level signal "spamming" jamming.
