PCI Graphics Cards

I have an ATI Radeon 128mb 9200SE (PCI). I have been experiencing texture and graphical problems with the game, such as transperent weapons and "blinking textures". My PC meets all the other requirements and recommendations. Can you guys help me out?

Ermm, your graphics card is not especially good?

May I suggest you try updating to the latest drivers, updating and reinstalling DirectX?

TB.

I have DirectX9b, and I can't find a drivers that works with my specific model. But games like Call of Duty, Homeworld 2, and Halo work fine on max graphics settings, so I don't know what the problem is.

Well install DX9c, you don't need model specific drivers, ATi drivers work with every ATi card.

You can also reinstall PS

Thats all good advice, the blame must rest with the Planetside Engine. I think the developers messed with the Direct X architecture to incorporate all of the technical features like the number of players on screen. Thats my best guess as to what causes the bugs. The other games you mention just run off of standard Direct X technology.

I remember my last PCI video card, it was a VooDoo3...overclocked. It actually needed a fan if you can believe that.
