If by bored you mean getting shot at constantly then yeah...
well except for the guys that stay on bases and do stuff other than combat, but they still have to worry about mortars, car bombs and such. It's funny to watch stuff blow up, good stress relief.

Better then some of the uses they put ym tax dollars to, but thats an argument for the PD forum.
