Heh, it would be even better if the MAX punched so hard that it sent lighter vehicles and people flipping into the air. Wouldn't it be great to see a MAX punch a buggy and send it flying into a squad, sending parts and people everywhere?

As cool as that sounds, I think I know why they didn't give MAX's melee attacks... because it would be too much like Pokemon. We'd all have MAX boxing matches or something, and hillarity would ensue.

Kinda realated to running outta ammo; I think you should be able to attach berrets (the little swordy things) to the end of certain guns. That would be cool. OR, maybe you could attach a knife to it.

Or maybe your guy could jump out of the max armor but he's completely unarmed so he has to use his expert knowledge of kung fu to defend himself.

It'd be the best AFK killer ever, especially if they put a hardcore sound effect to it...kind of a dull thud with a bit of a squish.

Or, when you run out of ammo, they could make MAX-icopter Helicopters. You pull your arms into the main suit, and the suit starts to spin its arms around, so you hover a few feet off the ground, and become somewhat of a anti-infantry lawnmower.
