Star Wars: Republic Commando

I just picked up this game, and am loving it. It really plays like a squad based halo 2. The best part is that your squad is actualy really helpful unlike alot of games. The opening sequence is pretty amazing, and every mission after that is awsome. I have played alot of shitty shooters, and this is not one of them.

Download the demo here: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/st...downloads.html

Just finished the game. It was really short. The ending left you with the exact same fealing as Halo 2's ending. You literaly are locking and loading for the next big ass mission when the credits roll. Why can't computer companies learn to finish their damn games. Complete endings=good.

I played it on medium the first time. Now I am going through it again on hard (highest difficulty). I am already 1/3 of the way through. That speaks to how good this game is though. I never enjoy a game enough to play it a 2nd time through. I honestly think this may be the first game I have ever done this with.

Jedi are mentioned once in a prologue to a mission. And you see that general out a window once before he flys away in his ship.

I think this may be the first star wars game since tie fighter not to have a single lightsaber in it.

The bodyguards weapon is more of a stick with two glowing ends then a lightsaber.
