Lieutenant Colonel

Sorry if this was discussed at one point or another, but what happens when one player lands on another? Especially a Vanu MAX on a light trooper. Will they phase through eachother, just have two tons of armor balanced on the guys head, or will he be crushed like a bug? And what of trampling (MAX hits another light trooper in run mode, unlikely, I know)

good point the vanu max with its jump maybe just slosh through the infantry like ants. Then again all the MAX's would just be able to run ove civilians equally good. I think that (like in halo) if you in a buggy or something you should be able to run through big groups of people with reletive ease.

I'm thinking turning enemies into road-kill will be a fairly popular pastime for people in buggies, and (in particular) the Lightening. Fast, reasonably well armor... heh.
I wouldn't be too suprised to find that getting smacked by a full speed max is good for 100+ damage. Enough to take out the lightest armors in one shot (or someone who's previously been shot up a bit by that MAX's weapons). Seeing two MAXes plow into each other at full tilt will be worth laughing at enthusiastically. And it will almost certainly happen at some point. |
