question about the air vehicles

if your about to crash, is it going to be like BF 1942, where you can press a button and a parachute comes out?

No you just dont get hurt falling and yes you can eject , theres enertial dampeners to absorb the impact

inertial dampeners = parachute. However, seems like i heard that the inertial dampeners don't kick in unless you jump from a certain altitude.. so if you jump out of your vehicle and you are relatively low, you can still get killed

They're called "kinetic dampeners" not intertial dampeners.

and yes all armor get kinetic dampeners. And it is true that the higher you jump the safer you are.

I wonder why they call them "kinetic" dampeners...if something slowed down kinetic energy, the molecules in the person's body would slow down and stop giving off heat and they'd freeze to death. Should call them "Inertiogravitational" dampeners.

In physics, Kinetic Energy is the amount of energy you have from movement. If you decrease your kinetic energy, one of the ways is to decrease your velocity, hence, kinetic dampeners.

[Edit: If anyone is wondering, the formula is actually E(k)=(mv^2)/2 where E(k) is actually E subscript k which stands for Kinetic Energy, and m is your mass, and v is your velocity. So if you want to be a smartass, yes, you could lower your kinetic energy by lowering your mass ]
