Hi guys, i bought ps back when it came out and i stopped playing because of the video lag i was getting, but now i bought the 6600gt and im really interested in comming back. I have to many questions to ask on this forum but mayby someoen could contact me over AIM? my sn is "Pollok fo life" ty very much.

Is every1 playing the expansion packs and everything? like i think it was core combat?

not too many people play it, it's either a love it or hate it situation, the new cave zones are really... different. But it's not a must have expansion, like expacs are for games like everquest.

About the core combat expansion, if you like it get it because you get the BFR! and some weapons that youll use every once and a while outside the caves.

I mean do many people play it? what do people play more, cuz i really dotn have the money to buy any other crap accept mayby the monthly fee

About once a week there is a cave fight worth going to. Mostly, people go down there to get away from BFRs, and since not many people go to the Battle Islands except for the few who like the armor bonus, so you get some fun fights. I have it because I got it for $10 and the spiker is fun as hell (I wouldn't be caught dead in a BFR so....). It depends whether or not you're willing to put $10ish into a game that you'll use maybe once a week.

As for how many people play, theres almost always at least one poplocked continent, so yeah, the fights are plenty big

How about non expansion pack? are there many people still playing it?

Not really, cause its really easy to get.

let's not forget the CC vehicles, they are all totally kick ass when you roll them at the right times

Core combat isnt a true expansion pack, aside fromt he caves. You can still interact with BFR's and die by them. When you are above ground, the only thing that seperates you from the guys that does have CC is the vehics, and weapons.

Overall i think the caves are pretty decent. You can get some really nice infantry battles down there, and yes its away from the BFRs, MBTs, and reaver spammage and OSing. Its a nice break, and people do enjoy the cave lock when you finish.

ah yeah.. a good cave fight, rare as they may be, are total blasts.

agree, when a cave battle gets going you dont want to stop. until the cave closes
