Okay, so here's the deal.
NONE of the gaming shops near me have Planetside in stock, and I don't want to go through the hassle of having it shipped to me. So, I downloaded it from here. It's patching like mad right now, and supposedly it has both PlanetSide and Core combat on it. The question is, do I need a CD key? I got a 10-day free trial key from the Buddy Key Exchange (by the way, thank you Gryphon), other than that I have nothing. Is it possible, once you have PlanetSide all patched and ready, to simply bill from credit card without ever seeing a CD? |

Well, I did technically download the full version. It's patching in the rest right now. The thing is, I never bought a CD, so I don't have the original CD-key that it says you need for activation. However, I got a key from the Buddy Exchange and entered it in the "activate account" window on the station site. I successfully logged into PlanetSide and began to patch.

I assume after you go through the trial you would have to "buy" it off the main site. After that they just email you the key and you enter that and then you get the billing information.
That is what I'm told.
