Every country has a spy agency. How effective or powerful it is, coupled with that country's view on world affairs, determines whether or not it's well known.
In the case of Sweden, it's fairly close to the former Soviet Union. Considering that at least one Scandinavian country was a staging ground for Soviet troops, I'd say they're well within their rights to have a "spy agency". |
