Headphones are good, but they suck for the gym. I use headphones for music on the computer, and things like that, but I have to use earbuds for the gym, as headphones fall off too easily while running and other things of the sort. |

Same for me, plus Earbuds are easier to sneak around in school, not some huge set of headphones that you can see from a mile away. I use those for the computer, earbuds for everything else.
And sound quality isn't that bad on earbuds either, unless you pump the volume up all the way like a retard, like this article is saying :P |

Yep. I have my volume locked to a certain level so that I can go all the way up but it isn't the loudest the iPod can go, so I never get the crappy sound.
My default earbuds were acting weird so I used some others, they sounded like utter crap and broke after 2 days of using them, compared to the iPod default's that I'v had for months. And they still sound great. |
