Max should have mele.

I saw alot of posts about this but no threads about this.

If i am not mistaken then why dont max's have a mele option, I mean cant you picture a max running out of amo after plowing down lines and lines of guys, so he switches to axe mode (or pistol wip mode) and runs after this little noob with a mini beamer.

It would suck to be that mini beamer lol, camping behind this little rock and suddenly this huge max runs right at you and BAM...

Actually there was a thread like this a while ago, I made it...most people thought I was kidding though I think. I suggested a punch attack.

I think that while the MAXes would be too cumbersome and heavy to punch it'd also screw with gameplay allowing the MAX to defend against even close range atacks from combat engineers and AT soldiers making them impervious to enemy soldiers.

Well since the MAX is a large, encumbersome, mini-tank, I doubt they have the flexibility or manueverability to do any form of melee attack. The best you can do is go to speed and hope to hit someone with your poor turning radius.

max's should be able to transform into trucks and helocopters and they should be able to jump in the air and grab a reever and thunder smah it to the ground ooo and dig holes and hide in em so when soldiers walk over you can jump up and grab em you should also be able to punch through walls and also and and and and and ..... anyways im sure they wont put punching in cause it will make the game unbalanced

I don't neccesarily think maxes need melee but as a dedicated PS fan I think the maxes are the most poorly thought out part of the game.

I agree that maxes were probably poorly thought out. We'll have to see if they get the balance right, but right now I see them really stomping everything, and leaving infantry to only hack. I mean, why take medium armor if you're not going to be a hackor or a medic if you can take max armor and have all that armor and firepower?

You won't have "no mobility", just less.

maxes have almost 3/4 the speed of reinforced armor (and more than 6 times the armor).

Plus they can do their build up run and have vehicle like speeds.

Hell, if your vanu you even get jump jets.

Im going to use max armour but persoanly it will get a little boring it will be like mechwarior all day so regular armours will be good if just for the change of weapons
