the 9000 series isn't really anny good for gaming.
Get a 9500 pro (it's $190 dollars at www.newegg.com). Don't get a non pro card, they suck hard. |

my friend has a 9000pro 128mb and I tested it out this weekend it worked pretty damn well with all the games i played on it (GTA3, Mafia, NfS hot persuit2, ect.) I just ordered one myself because im short on cash and only had to spend $94 on it. Im going to get a 9700pro or better this summer.

I just had ALOT of problems with a sapphire 128mb Radeon 9000pro so I just ordered my second Nvidia card. I ordered a Geforce 4 ti4200 128mb which really did alot better then a 128mb r9000pro in 3d tests. It was $145 with shipping so it appears to be in your price range.
