Hi U all,
just recently the PS had an update, and that brought up a problem for me: When starting the PlanetSide (loading the game, not station console), it stops in the "Establishing connection" (or something) screen, this is displayed full-screen. The whole system seems frozen. It would not let me go to Win to kill the process or anything. I reseted my system, then did same again. System frozen. I left it there. Well, after it stood there for some time the screensaver kicked in. I have it set so that Win goes to the User Selection -screen when this happens. After I logged in to the Win again, the PlanetSide was minimized and FSecure was asking to let it access internet. Ofcourse, since the .exe had changed since the original instal. By approving this (and act as a server -dialog) all worked fine. I had suspected this was the problem and had earlier manually set the PlanetSide.exe as approved application, but still this did not help. Only by approving the FSecure's own dialog did this problem get solved. So the main problem is that PlanetSide is VERY hard to get minimized or change to Windows at any point. At my system anyhow. But, thanks for a great game ! Last edited by Tanara; 2006-07-13 at 03:22 PM. |
