Switch411 Station Member Registered: Feb 2003 posted 02-17-2003 06:46 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SJ SAID IN THE DEC CHAT> "THE ENFORCER IS A 3 MAN BUGGY" Spork, salesman extrodinare, knows his vehicles. SporkfirePS Station Admin Registered: Jan 2003 posted 02-18-2003 12:17 PM user search report post -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- It breaks down like this: TR Marauder - A 3-man buggy. It has a 75mm Chaingun in front and a GroundPounder grenade launcher in the back. NC Enforcer: A 2-man buggy - driver and gunner. It has a FireBird Rocket Launcher. VS Thresher: A 2-man buggy - driver and gunner. It has a Flux Cannon, which does less damage than a 75mm Chaingun, but fires faster. So now Vanu has the weapons with a higher rate of fire?

I think the vanu advantages are going to be more on the order of projectiles that always go in a straight line. NC and TR (the tanks in particular) have to worry about arcing their shots to hit their targets.
Strafing will be a big defensive bonus, no doubt about it. But on the offensive side, the lack of an arc should improve accuracy, particularly of newer players. |

Negative. 'Cause when the Reaver comes by, all of the above ground vehicles (except the NC) RUN. Including snipers on foot .

The gun kata treats the gun as a total weapon, each fluid position representing a maximum kill zone, inflicting maximum damage on the maximum number of opponents while keeping the defender clear of the statistically traditional trajectories of return fire. By the rote mastery of this art, your firing efficiency will rise by no less than 120%. The difference of a 63% increase to lethal proficiency makes the master of the gun katas an adversary not to be taken lightly. |
