Worth coming back to?

Been gone for a while, since my comp broke down, and I had to use this old one. But it just so happens that I will be getting my comp fixed for christmas, and I was wondering: Is planetside worth coming back to? Is there any more giant battles that I played in 3 years ago? Can I still get killed every 5 seconds?

There is the free trial deal still going on; so you can still try it out. Everyone who ive talked to says there are still some large battles but not the huge 3 or 4 base multiple zergings of that long ago.

to the op. have you actually played the game? looking at your (prime) character with 143 kills total....thats not even 1 day of playing

anyway, as mentioned above you can use the free version first to see if you still like the game and if yes, then upgrade to a normal account
