I suggest a card from Radeon. I was reading a article from tech tv and it had the comparison between all the cheaper cards now and the 64mb radeon 9000pro out performed all the MX series geforce4's and all geforce3's. I would choose it and you can get a 128mb Radeon 9000pro for $94. I think the 64mb version of that card is only $75 whatever you do dont get a geforce MX series card they dont support all directX8.1 features. IMO a geforce 4 is merely a pumped up gf2.

Well no not exactly... but anyways. You can actually get a ti4200 turbo for less than 200 I believe. It performs about 5% less than the ti4600. Someone showed it to me a little while ago.

You can get the industry standard card (GeForce 4 Ti4200 128MB) for $100-$160. That is a great card. I have one and it cannot fail me. I always crank up all the graphics on games too, it can handle it. I might have to add this comment tho:

You know, I think Nvidia and ATI are pretty evenly matched. I browsed through a huge article that compared all of ATI and Nvidias recent cards.
They were performance benchmarked on 4 games and with 3dmark. We all know that the ATIs outperform Nvidias on the 3dmark testing. However, the ti4600 and ti4400 outperformed all of ATI's cards on two of the games, and the top two ATI cards outperformed all Nvidia cards on the other two games. The article was also suggesting that Nvidia's cards run better on slower machines than the ATI cards do.

The newer ati cards are better on faster systems because they can handle them. Geforce 4 ti series cards are great cards and they are relatively inexpensive (except the ti4600). ATI or nvidia would be able to run this game pretty well I imagine
