Land types?

I read the section of the website about the world of PS which mentioned rolling hills, valleys, rock formations, etc. But will there be additional land types...possible strategic ones? Such as dense forest, snow covered lands, lake areas, swamps, city ruins, mountainside cliffs, etc?

Yes, there will be most of that stuff you mentioned. There will probably be other alien landscapes as well that we haven't seen yet.

basically anthing that occurs on earth will probably be in the game

There will be buildings that reflect the terrian like 5 story watch towers on hills. ALso weather might effect terrian like when it snows the ground becomes snow.
