Warpgate and Drop Pod

When someone is coming through the warpgate, does something warn the natives of the presents of a newcomer. And when someone enters/exits a warpgate, does the gate do anything?

And Droppods, do the natives get warning of a newcomer, and ifso could you see it on radar? How long does a pod take to get from the sky to the ground?

Dumb little questions I know, may have read somewhere bout this, but I'm too sleep to look.

No, and maybe (not sure if there is a graphical effect or not).

No, no, and not too sure. (They couldn't see it on radar, since the drop pods are dropped outside of their sphere of influence, so there is no info coming in to them w/out assistance. Drop pods are a stealthy entrance)

I'd imagen the beam that goes in the center of the warpgate would activate or something when someone uses it... Won't be a continent wide message saying that enemies has arrived tho..

As for drop pods, no message or warning... but they shouldn't be to hard to spot..

Look stright up from the guys head, looks like a drop pod. Thats an inactive wargate, it's not in use ATM.. no center energy pillar.

Notice the active center energy pillar thing... thats all the warning you'll get that it's used from the looks of it.

No theres no difference in the warpgate? If so, just curious, then why's there a difference in the warpgates in the SS's?

And could you controll the drop pod as it makes its way down?

Just asked Hamma and he said they do it automaticly every few secs.
