Planetside Update Interview

The friendly folks over at HomeLAN Fed secured an exclusive interview with Dave Georgeson, Planetside's Creative Director, and asked him some questions about the general status of Planetside. Here's just one question and its answer, so be sure to head to HomeLAN and read the rest of the interview:

HomeLAN - Lately we have been hearing about other MMORPGs being cancelled or having financial difficulty. Is PlanetSide in any danger of cancellation?

Dave Georgeson - Not that they've told me! Seriously, I don't think so. I can't remember the last game SOE "cancelled" after launching, and unless we started hemmoraghing money, I don't expect they would ever shut us down. On the other hand, we're still slowly *growing* our player base after hitting a lull after last Christmas. Progress and growth is steady and we're very much looking forward to the efforts Marketing and Sales are making soon to get more faces looking at the game.
