Recent reports from sources in all three empires indicate more cause for concern about the recent phenomena on planet Auraxis. These reports have just been filed with our news affiliates around the planet:

From the TR Overwatch, Office of Information:

Opportunity is a reward to those that are ready. Today's meteorite impact is almost certainly connected to the recent planetary instabilities. When it happens again, prepare your forces to strike into the area impacted and take advantage of any enemy disarray.

And this from the New Conglomerate Command:

The caverns seem completely untouched by the other disturbances elsewhere on the globe. However, changes in the harmonics and frequency of shunt pulsing are increasing in the caves, leading us to believe that some mechanism is coming on-line that was previously dormant. We can only conjecture that the quakes are some after effect of the changes going on below the surface.

And our last report filed just moments ago from the Vanu Sovereignty Council:

Although today's earthquakes and the large meteorite impact seem linked due to timing, it's extremely likely that they are just an unfortunate coincidence. The belt of broken moon remnants orbiting Auraxis does not seem to be destabilizing its orbit and this single stray meteorite may have been a rogue object. There is not cause for greater concern at this time.
